A raunchy Delta State University, DELSU, lecturer has reportedly been arrested by the police in a hotel while trying to have his way with a student.
The lecturer whose name is withheld was arrested at the Wembley Hotel located in Abraka, the University town, with the student, Esther, who arranged the arrest.
According to news agency, Sunday Telegraph, Esther reported the lecturer who was her Course Adviser in Primary/ Nursery Education Department at the University to the police after he threatened to fail her if she refused his sexual advances.
Esther however agreed to meet with the lecturer but passed on the information to the police.
While opening up on the case, the state Commissioner of Police, Zanna Muhammed Ibrahim, said the lecturer was caught naked at the agreed hotel.
“Based on the complainant’s feigned acceptance of the suspect’s demand, she was taken to Wembley hotel, Abraka, by the suspect on, where detectives were invited and arrested him in the hotel room after he had already undressed”.
The Commissioner further stressed that proper investigation into the case had started.
